So this is a post about the Seasons in Panama
First off all, when I flew into Panama, I had no idea the sun always sets around 6 pm. I remember being shocked that it didn’t set at 9 or 10 pm. This is supposedly because of the Ecuador. I’m not even a novice in this area, so you’ll have to look it up online if you want to know why that matters.
So the dry season FINALLY hit Panama about 1.5 weeks ago. A little later than last year according to my recollection.
And this is when I guess I took further note on a few things:
- The sun isn’t rising until around closer to 6:30 am, whereas during the rainy season it’s usually just before & upto 6 am.
- The sun is setting a little bit later around 6:15 – 6:30 pm. I didn’t notice this last year. Probably because I was going through hell with that one landlord.
I love the summer & NEVER thought I’d want for the winter, but I do remember feeling like I wanted a Christmas winter in & around that time period. Very strange, & now I know why some people who move to a warm climate want for the change of seasons. Just NEVER thought it would be me.
