Dry Season in Panama
So FINALLY we get the dry season in Panama It’s January & it started last week. We haven’t had rain in a week. It’s quite hot during the day, but there’s more wind. Better late than never. Hopefully the mold will dissipate.

Here’s the story with Panamanians & their firecrackers So if you want to make a fortune in Panama, open up some sort of firecracker store or import some unusual one, although that probably won’t do you much good unless they are cheap. I was very nervous about what I was going to have to deal … Read more
So my first year in Panama I thought to myself that the rain wasn’t too bad. This was a concern for me as I didn’t want to be in a country where it won’t stop raining. It rained approximately once every 3-4 days for short periods of time although sometimes it rained so heavily the … Read more
So I learned last year that the Panamanians all paint their houses just before Christmas. One local guy hate Christmas saying that they ALL compete with their decorations. I don’t care about the decorations, I care about the toxic fumes. They probably use the most toxic paint one can find & I’ve been smelling it … Read more

So I feel that the topic of urine should be discussed in Panama. Men (maybe women too) urinate all over the place outside & they don’t care if you see them either. I’ll be walking on the way to the mall & I’ll see guys go off to the side & start urinating. Fine, I … Read more
So I found several more items where the prices have gone up anywhere between 10 cents to a dollar. And the gas prices have gone back down to $3.88 which doesn’t affect me as I don’t drive, but the other pricing does affect me. I don’t know if it’s just because it’s Christmas season or … Read more
So I’ve noticed in the last few months Panama is getting dirtier & dirtier I’m talking Panama City & Arraijan as I only know these 2 areas. I don’t know if the rain is getting dirtier & therefore raining down dirt (I mentioned this before in another post) or what is happening, but there’s mud … Read more
So I don’t really get the situation with pennies in Panama, but it’s worth noting that: I was told there’s a shortage of pennies in Panama. I only heard this from one person, so don’t take my word for it. As I mentioned in another post, some places steal your pennies. They don’t give you … Read more
Toilet Paper in Panama – So up until now I’ve only used North American toilet paper, but I was unable to get any, so I had to resort to getting Panamanian toilet paper & I was shocked. The first roll I purchased (they sell them by the roll here too) was the soft kind. I … Read more
